Summer Special Offer!
July 2025
Every September, the ‘gateway to Wales’ transforms into a feast-filled haven. And this year’s Abergavenny Food Festival on 20th – 21st September is set to serve up one of the most mouth-watering weekends of 2025.
What started back in 1999 as a grassroots response to the BSE crisis, founded by two local farmers, has now grown into a nationally loved, not-for-profit celebration of everything edible. From farmers, producers, and chefs to writers, campaigners, and food lovers, this is where good taste meets good company.
With a Stroller Ticket (£16 for adults, £5 for teens aged 13-15, and free for U13s), you’ll get access to six buzzing town-centre venues, where over 200 top-quality food and drink exhibitors will tempt your tastebuds. Expect a mix of street food, artisan produce, and creative flair – all served with a generous helping of friendly Welsh hospitality.
Be prepared to rub shoulders with some of the best in the business. This year’s guests include:
And that’s just the beginning. There’ll also be live chef demos, food debates, hands-on workshops, a food quiz, and quirky events like a beer and cheese matching contest, build-your-own Welsh cocktail, and an edible education session.
When the sun sets, the flavours keep flowing. Browse the Night Market or head to the legendary Party at the Castle – a celebration of music, good food, and moonlit dancing under the historic Abergavenny skyline.
(Some events are individually ticketed, so do plan ahead!)
Lucksall Holiday Park is just 45 minutes from Abergavenny town centre (NP7 5HD), making it the perfect spot to retreat after a day of foodie fun.
Explore, taste, and unwind – and make this the most delicious weekend of the year.
