Spring Blooms at RHS Malvern Festival

Staying at Lucksall Holiday Park this May, why not take the short trip to one of the UK’s most popular gardening events? The RHS Malvern Spring Festival, at the Three Counties Showground returns – a perfect day out for garden lovers, families, and anyone looking to immerse themselves in a world of outdoor beauty. Just a 40-minute drive from Lucksall, this vibrant festival promises an exciting mix of expert talks, spectacular gardens, hands-on workshops, and more!

What to Expect at RHS Malvern

From 9am to 6pm each day (last admittance at 4pm), you can explore a stunning variety of show gardens, feature gardens, and indoor plant gardens, all designed to inspire and delight. This year’s theme, People & Plants, highlights the deep connection between us and the natural world. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or simply appreciate the beauty of nature, you’ll find yourself in awe of the creative designs and lush greenery on display.

One of the highlights of the festival is the dedicated Design Your Own Show Garden – a chance to get creative and explore your garden design skills. Plus, the school gardens provide a fantastic educational opportunity, where young minds get to design and grow their own mini gardens.

Celebrity Guests & Expert Talks

The festival will also feature special guests, such as gardening legend Alan Titchmarsh, celebrated chef Raymond Blanc OBE, culinary expert Marcus Bean, and renowned horticulturist Anya Lutenbach. With these experts sharing their tips and tricks, you’re guaranteed to leave with plenty of new knowledge to bring back to your own garden.

Family Fun & Dog Day

Sunday 11th May is ‘Dog Day’ – bring along your well-behaved canine companions to enjoy the festival. (Just remember, you’ll need to register for a free ticket in advance for your furry friend!)

There’s also plenty of family fun to be had throughout the weekend, including willow-weaving, circus workshops, Bhangra and Bollywood dancing, and a sand pit and mud kitchens to keep kids entertained.

Trade Stands & Dining

The festival features an impressive array of trade stands, offering everything from plants and flowers to food and drink, garden accessories, and home and lifestyle products. You can also indulge in VIP dining experiences for a more luxurious festival day.
