Just 40 minutes from Lucksall Holiday Park, the Leominster & Hereford Kite Festival is back – ready to fill the skies with colour on 12th and 13th July from 10am till 5pm each day.
Set in the glorious grounds of Berrington Hall (HR6 0DW), a striking Georgian mansion designed by Henry Holland, this festival is more than just a visual treat. It’s an experience dripping in history and countryside calm.
The Hall itself is a gem. And its parkland was the final garden and landscape design by the legendary Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Think manicured grounds, plenty of wildlife, and views that scream ‘quintessentially British’.
The festival is informal, fun, and open to everyone, whether you’re a seasoned flyer or just fancy lying back and watching the sky come alive.
Weather permitting (fingers crossed for a fine weekend!), you’ll catch some of the UK’s best sport and single-line kite flyers showing off their skills on the expansive lawn leading down to the lake.
The schedule is relaxed and flexible, so it is ideal for a chilled family day out or a peaceful solo wander. Pack a picnic or treat yourself to something tasty from the on-site refreshments. But don’t forget that National Trust admission charges apply so bring your membership card or pay on entry.
Book your stay with us today and visit our park for a unique weekend filled with colour, countryside, and carefree charm.
