A Night of Music Under the Stars at Proms in the Park

What better way to spend a summer’s day than with a picnic blanket, some good food, and live music floating through the air? Ross-on-Wye is hosting Proms in the Park on Sunday, 20^th July 2025, and it’s shaping up to be one of the highlights of the season.

Summer Socials 

Held in the town’s bandstand, this special edition of Ross-on-Wye’s ‘Bands in the Park’ series offers an afternoon of free, open-air music from 2pm to 7.30pm. So, if you’re a fan of big brass, uplifting classical pieces, or just love the relaxed vibe of outdoor concerts, it’s the perfect excuse to soak up the summer sun with a soundtrack to match.

The line-up includes:

• Border Belles Choir (2pm – 3.30pm)
• Frankie Wesson Music (3.55pm – 5.15pm)
• Ebbw Valley Brass Band (5.35pm – 7.35pm).

And there’s refreshments available from Taco Town, The Beefy Boys, and Kelsmor Dairy.

Locals and visitors alike come together to share good music, good food, good company, and good views across the scenic River Wye.
