We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable couple to join our team.
The successful couple must be enthusiastic, friendly, hardworking, articulate, reliable, use common sense and can work as part of a team. You must have excellent customer service skills and must be flexible.

Full-time permanent position. As we operate in the tourism industry weekend and bank holiday work will be necessary over a 5-6 days per week basis with evening walk around duties. You will also be required to be on a weekly rolling 24-hour call out rota.

This is a hands-on position, duties will include:

  • Grass cutting, hedge cutting, strimming, gardening, grounds maintenance
  • Other general maintenance and repairs, security, refuse collection
  • Basic plumbing and electrics
  • Sorting gas bottle deliveries to the Park and redistributing to customers
  • Keeping the Park clean and tidy
  • Welcoming and checking in guests, taking them down to their pitch
  • Cleaning to a high standard of hire glamping huts/pods and for sale stock units

Reception Duties:

  • Taking bookings via GemaPark booking system (by phone and email)
  • Good basic IT skills essential
  • Maintaining the shop and information hut- re-stocking, keeping clean and tidy
  • Flexibility and dedicated team worker
  • Basic updating of Park policies/paperwork (e.g. COSHH, GDPR)

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent customer care and communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Professional and effective email writing
  • Able to interact in a mature manner with colleagues and customers
  • Committed to providing a high standard of service
  • Adhere and promote company risk assessments and health & safety policies
  • Repair or report any faults with equipment to the General Manager
  • Be able to work to a timetable and deadlines

  • First aid certificate desirable but not essential
  • Hold a full clean driving licence

Remuneration:

Rent free accommodation may be available. Electricity and gas usage chargeable. We are unable to consider couples with dependents or pets, although 1 pet will be fine.
