Remember - You must have a Rod Licence to fish in England & Wales. You can purchase a license for 1 Day, 8 Days, or a full Season. You can obtain a license from any Post Office or directly On-line from the Enviroment Agency  or by calling 0870 1662 662. This licence is a legal requirement for anyone over the age of 12. This is a legal requirement and not connected to the fishing permit that you must purchase from the fishing club that owns the rights to fish a stretch of water. The fishing club that owns our stretch is the Hereford & District Angling Association. You can buy a club permit in the site office when you arrive or from Woody’s Angling Centre in Whitecross Road, Hereford.

Fishermen....
Take your camera - when you catch a good fish take a photo, weigh it make a note of where you caught it and the bait then later you can add to our" Fishboard" on this website.

It doesn't have to be a record breaker, it is to show fellow fishermen the type of catches to expect from a stretch of river.
